Ammonite, a type of ancient mollusk, extinct since the close of the Cretaceous period, characterized by a spiral shell similar to a coiled ram's horn. The name is derived from the Egyptian deity Amon, who was depicted as a man with such horns.

I only recently found about the 3DS Max advertisement! It's a little odd, since I don't really use that program, and it was certainly not used in the creation of the model or the published renderings!
